Jessica Lisovicz

Jessica Lisovicz is a certified 200-hour registered yoga teacher. She first discovered the yoga practice at Cornell University and took dance courses through the Department of Performing and Media Arts. She then received her 200-hour certification in 2015 with Julie Gurevich and Heather Sheridan and has trained in the Baptiste Yoga style.

Her teaching style is a challenging vinyasa flow class with a focus on strength, flexibility and mindfulness. She loves using the power of music to help her students connect deeper with their practice, so expect a balanced playlist of mood-boosting tunes to help power-up the body and settle the mind.

Kerri Goldman

Kerri Goldman received her 200-hour RYT certification from Twisted Lotus, a lineage of the Laughing Lotus Flow, at Real Hot Yoga. Kerri has always been extremely active and started dancing competitively and playing sports at a young age. After sustaining an injury as a teenager, which ended her dance career, Kerri found her way onto a yoga mat and into the gym, and fell in love with yoga and various other forms of fitness. Kerri graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2012. After working in the fashion industry for several years, Kerri found that she was missing something in her career, and wanted to share her love of yoga and fitness with others by becoming an instructor. She started out as a karma yogi in the RHY Englewood studio and has loved growing along with the studio and community. Kerri brings elements of her dance and fitness influences into her classes, focusing on both strength and flexibility. She challenges her students to tap into their core strength and balance with a powerful and athletic flow. Kerri loves sharing her passion and witnessing the transformation of her students, as they grow stronger and more confident in their yoga journey.

Michelle Porter

Michelle Porter is a 200HR-Registered Yoga Teacher, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Licensed Nutritionist located outside of New York City, in Hoboken, NJ.

Michelle received her first group fitness certifications in 2005 while attending Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH. She started out teaching Spinning and Bootcamp classes at her college rec center. After graduating with a Bachelors in Marketing, Michelle moved to New York City.

In 2007, Michelle as a means to balance out her fitness training but didn’t love it.

It wasn’t until Michelle discovered Power Yoga that she fell in love with yoga. The athletic challenge, upbeat music, and powerful flow was what she needed. In 2015, Michelle completed her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training with Patrick Franco in Hoboken, NJ, a lineage of the Laughing Lotus Lotus Flow.

Michelle has been teaching Hot Yoga EXCLUSIVELY at Real Hot Yoga since 2015. She specializes in Athletic Powerful Flow classes that are upbeat, challenging, and fun.

Meghan Kramer

Meghan Kramer is a yoga instructor who resides in Hoboken, NJ. With over 600 hours in Yoga Alliance certifications, Meghan creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you will flow with knowledgeable, safe and fun sequencing.

In 2014, initially not looking to teach, Meghan received her 200hr RYT certification with Stacey Bell at Garden State Yoga (Currently Powerflow Bloomfield) Her passion was ignited and from there Meghan went on to graduate her 300hr Advanced Certification with Jody Domerstad. Moving forward she began to practice at Laughing Lotus where she became certified in Yin Yoga and Essential Oils.

Through it all, nature and her travel have constantly given her inspiration to bring out the best in herself and those around her. In 2014 she traveled to India and wound up teaching yoga for two weeks to 60 Indian children as a volunteer in Ulanoor, Kerala. Most recently she backpacked 75 miles over 6 days in Chile at the legendary Torres del Paine. It is within the challenge, where one discovers their true self.

The desire to learn and progress as a teacher and human being is a flame that has no intention of dying down.

Laura Cresci

Laura Cresci is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher and holds a certification in Antigravity Yoga as well. An ACE certified fitness trainer and group class teacher since 1995, Laura turned her attention to Yoga in 1997 while living in London, England, studying with Michael Myerscough. In the U.S. she completed her 200-hour teacher training plus an additional 150-hours with Mandy Grant at Juluka Yoga NJ and her 300- hour advanced training with Laughing Lotus NYC. In her energetic classes, Laura encourages students of all abilities to move in a way that best suits them, with grace and intention, allowing lightness through breath yet steadiness through movement. She enjoys lighthearted humor and her everchanging playlists will inspire you to surrender yourself fully to your practice. You will leave your mat feeling peaceful, grounded and invigorated all at the same time

Paula Gomez

Paula started her journey back in 2012, immediately falling in love with the yogic culture. Coming from the world of dance, Paula’s transition was unique, creating a new perspective on her individuality and purpose. In 2016, she decided to take the leap and go on to complete her RYT200 in Vinyasa with her mentor, Melissa Varjan at Hokis Yoga Studio. A Yin Yoga workshop with Tiffany Spizzo then sparked her interest, influencing her decision to complete a Yin training with Michele Sapanaro thereafter. Combining her yin & yang yoga training with her extensive dance background, Paula creates a rhythmic and inviting full body flow in the studio. She challenges her students both physically and mentally, emphasizing the importance of alignment while moving with the breath. Her purpose as a yoga instructor is to leave your body invigorated, your mind balanced, and your soul at peace. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced yogi, she welcomes all levels!

James Calleo

James is a full-time adventurer, musician and certified yoga instructor. James started his yoga career playing music at yoga studios in exchange for yoga. Constantly being surrounded by the practice, James received his 200 HOUR RYT from Jeff Posner and his Laughing Lotus inspired sequencing. You can expect to flow from start to finish, with logical sequencing that will allow your body to reap the benefits of combining steady strength and free flowing movement. James’s classes are inspired by his singer/songwriter career in music, creating a class that plays like a sweet song.

Sarafina Orbe

Sarafina Orbe is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, Pilates and barre instructor. She has a bachelors degree in Exercise Science which gives her a unique insight on how the body functions during exercise. Sarafina has always been extremely active and started dancing at a young age which was a catalyst for her passion for movement. An injury at the age of 16 had her trade in her ballet shoes for a yoga/Pilates mat. She then realized her calling as fitness instructor. In her classes, she sprinkles different aspects of Pilates, barre and yoga, making sure to give you a fantastic workout that will never become boring

Nancy Scarzafava

Nancy began her yoga journey in 2010 looking for an exercise regime that included both a physical and a mental focus while giving her a peaceful heart. At that time balancing a family, a home and a teaching career of 24 years was leading to stress and high blood pressure. Joining a gym seemed a natural place to start. Fortunately the gym offered a yoga class and Nancy decided to give it a try! Her life changed from the moment she began to practice yoga. Yoga offered her the physical and mental practice she was looking for, but so much more! Nancy’s practice of yoga began to grow spiritually, as well as physically and mentally! In 2017, Nancy decided to retire from elementary school teaching, after 33 years, and focus on her YOGA! She completed her RYT 200 hours teacher training in March of 2018 from The Moksha Vinyasa School of Yoga under the direction of Erica Arce and Jay Karlinski. Nancy’s style of yoga is greatly influenced by her mentors. Her wish is to reach as many people as she can through her yoga teaching, offering her students the Peace, as well as physicality, she has found through her practice. Through her vinyasa style, she hopes to offer her students peaceful thoughts, peaceful words and peaceful actions! Namaste!

Sarah O'Connor

Sarah O'Connor received her 200- hour RYT certificate from Moksha Vinyasa Yoga School, at Real Hot Yoga. Sarah has always been very active, playing many sports and exercising daily. Sarah found yoga early on in college, as an alternative to traditional exercise, which she quickly realized also helped to relieve anxiety. Since her first yoga class, Sarah has been eager to learn more about yoga. Yoga has been a major part of Sarah's life ever since, physically, mentally, and spiritually. She is also a Registered Dietitian and finds yoga a good compliment to her career as a Dietitian. Sarah hopes to help other yogis find strength, flexibility, stress relief, and inner peace by teaching yoga.x

Melanie Rodriguez

Melanie Rodriguez is a 200 hour certified yoga instructor. She completed her training and certification through the iFlow Yoga program with Amy Jean Pastore in May 2017. Through Amy's training, Melanie has learned to sequence her classes with intelligence, inspiration, and intuition. Through yoga, Melanie has experienced the physical, mental and spiritual benefits offered by the practice and has come to realize that true self-love and happiness can be achieved. She hopes to share all of this with her students in a light-hearted, fun, and creative way.

Brendan Gibbons

Brendan has been practicing yoga since 2001. He studied yoga intensely while traveling through India, Nepal and Thailand for 6 months in 2007 and then completed his certification in 2008 with YogaWorks in New York City. Since then he has been teaching at studios in New York City, Hoboken and surrounding suburbs and Los Angeles. Also, he has either managed or owned yoga studios in NYC, Hoboken and LA.

His classes are strong and energetic. Combining intelligent sequences with a strong pace you will be left feeling invigorated, "worked out", yet calm, focused and with a better understanding of your body. By practicing with Brendan you will gain clear lines of strength and power within your body not just from a strong pace but also from working clearly and vigorously within each posture. When you are done with his class you will be ready to take on the day with strength, ease and may even feel an inch taller.

Kaitlin Bergin

Katie is a 200 RYT certified yoga instructor. She believes in the transformative nature of yoga and works with all students on expanding body awareness. Katie enjoys teaching a challenging, fun, and playful vinyasa class that meets each student where they are, while encouraging them to go deeper. You will leave her class feeling centered, inspired, and refreshed!

Alex Roberts

Alex started practicing hot yoga during college and fell in love with it instantly. A dancer since childhood, the vinyasa practice reminded her of the classes she loved and missed. A self-proclaimed "fitness junkie", Alex received her NASM personal trainer certification in 2015. In 2016, she received her Twisted Lotus Training at Real Hot Yoga, a lineage of the Laughing Lotus' Lotus Flow. Alex loves to incorporate strength and cardio exercises into her fun flows while still allowing for depth and stretch. he also teacher Tone and Sculpt: a mix between vinyasa and circuit training incorporating weights,resistance bands. blocks, and straps. Her playlists fuel her upbeat classes and allow for a balance between effort and ease.

Justeen Nason

Justeen is a health & wellness advocate, yoga teacher, and proud partner at Real Hot Yoga. Justeen specializes in group and individual yoga and fitness regimes for any level, from beginner students and recently rehabilitated athletes to the more advanced practitioner. In class she seeks to provide a unique and exceptional experience with care, offering modifications to suit different needs. Justeen strives to keep her students inspired and engaged with challenging yet energizing sequencing, an uplifting attitude, and upbeat music!

Justeen is 200+ Hour RYT certified, focusing on vinyasa flow, hatha, restorative yoga, pranayama, and Katonah. She is pursuing her 500 RYT and is looking forward to getting a deeper insight to share with her students. Justeen enjoys helping students find it within themselves to become more successful in everything they do. She has become dedicated to living a holistic lifestyle, by incorporating yoga, mindful living, clean eating, and her dog Charlie Brown into her routine!

Hot Flow/Hot power/Hot vinyasa - Call it what you want, it’s one of our favorite classes! Power yoga offers an excellent way to tone & strengthen muscles, increase heart rate, and burn calories…and then some! The hot room, 95˚ will make you sweat giving your body an awesome detoxification. Challenge yourself, feel great, and prepare to power through the rest of your day… or evening. This all levels class has plenty of instruction for beginners, and some optional, more advanced poses such as arm balances and inversions to challenge more experienced yogis.
